Day 4 was a short day – and good thing, the bed at the Fairfield was a little too soft and now my back hurts. We’ll be in Cuba for 2 days.
We started at the Meramec Bridge. and found another sign languishing for a place that no longer exists.
And moving along the route….
The Shamrock Court- which is being rennovated. Its so good to see someone trying to keep the spirit of The Mother Road alive. I think the neon is already done, from what I’ve already read.
Maybe it will be ready by the time I’m back on this part of the journey?
And more kitchy-ness ensued with the second largest rocker…..
I have some photos of the cutest place – the Wagon Wheel, but I’ll save those for Day 5. I’ll group all of the Neon together….and that’s all I’ll say for now.
