Day 6 – Wait, I need a Memory Card?

We started on our way to Lebanon. It was a bit overcast and rainy, but great background for some abandoned places pictures…..Yeah, you need a memory card in your camera in order to take the damn picture!

I did get a few cell phone snaps – frog rock and a defunct store

And we made our first trip to Buc-ees

It was everything and more!

Our AirBnB hostesses were able to get us in early. The place is so cute. They left a little welcome message for us.

We had dinner at a local place – and they actually had Woo Woo on the menu as a drink. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in the wild. Don’t tell the other cats, but Woo always was my favorite.

And FINALLY we made it to the Neon Park, before the skies opened. We did have quite the light show on the way home. I wish I could have been someplace I could pull over and set up the tripod, but with the way the rain was coming down, uh, that was a hard no.

And that concludes Day 6. Day 7 will be Springfield bound – and maybe another trip to Bucees. One thing I did note about Bucees, people here are like people at home, they park in front of a pump and leave – makes me insane! Ok, back to our regularly scheduled trip updates.
